MISSION 008 [VIDEO/ACTION FOR JUST OUTSIDE GOLDENROD CITY]
[The feed opens to the sight of a rather frazzled-looking Alex Louis Armstrong, who is in the middle of placing his Gear down on a flat surface. He’s shirtless, squatting down in front of the camera with a bemused expression on his face.]
Greetings, my friends! I was wondering if any of you had advice for dealing with a Pokemon who doesn’t really-
[Suddenly, Armstrong rises quickly, twists, and opens his arms, just in time to take a rather furious charge from a rather furious Mamoswine. Digging his feet into the earth, Armstrong fights to keep the Pokemon from trampling him, managing to stay standing and refusing to budge. Grunting and growling, the two struggle for a minute before the beast backs off, galloping away to prepare for another attempt.
Wiping sweat from his brow, Armstrong places his hands on his hips and turns back to the camera, exasperated.]
-doesn’t...really seem to like you all that much. I raised my dear Seldi from an egg, but she’s never taken to me.
[In the background, Seldi is scraping a foot against the ground, kicking up a small cloud of dust as she prepares to charge once more. Armstrong’s frown deepens; he doesn’t appear scared, just frustrated.]
I must admit that I am at a loss at what to do. Nothing seems to help! So, if any of you have been in this situation before and have any advice, it would be most appreciated-!!!
[The next charge is far faster than the last and far more aggressive, the Mamoswine roaring angrily as she pounds towards her trainer, who grimaces and prepares to intercept her, fists flexing. Again, she slams her tusks into him, but even with all her force he manages to stop her cold, dirt piling up around his boots as he forcefully digs his feet into the ground, sweat pouring down his back as he fights to stay up, teeth clenched and (exceptionally beautiful) muscles straining.
For a moment it looks like she might have overwhelmed him, as Armstrong drops to one knee, but it’s all part of his plan; suddenly unbalanced by the lack of force from one side, Seldi stumbles, allowing her trainer to hurl her sideways onto the ground. Once she’s down, he collapses onto hands and knees for a moment, panting, before straightening up and returning his eyes to the camera.]
Thank you very much for listening.

[She goes offscreen for moment, going off to try to find out where her Solosis was. After a moment or so, she comes back with a fussy Solosis in her hands. He certainly does not like being carried around like that!]
Solomon, do you mind if you could help out this man with your abilities?
If you could let go of me so I could float, you crazy bitch.
[Mayu frowned and did what her pokemon
demandedasked to do. After getting settled to floating, Solomon directed his attention at Armstrong.]So Muscle guy, what do you need me for?
My...my goodness, I can...I can hear you in my head!
[......
yeah he really really really needs to get him a damn Psychic Pokemon....]
Let me...let me just go and get Seldi....
['Going and getting Seldi' basically involves Armstrong wandering over to his downed Pokemon and holding the Gear to her, so Solomon can communicate with her clearly. She just glares into the camera, pupils dilated and eyes rolling somewhat.]
......what do you want?
What do I want? What I want is to know what's going on. What's with the 'tude?
It's probably somewhat due to that darn Rocket microchip attached to her brain, but...well, no one knows about that.]
...I...have to destroy him...!
[Her speech is broken, unfocused; she appears to be struggling to get the words out.]
...r....Raid On the City, Knock out Evil Tusks!
[Repeating that phrase a few times, Seldi starts to tremble.]
...for the glory of....I must...win...!!
Woah woah woah, I don't know what your deal with your trainer is but destroying him? That's going far.
[He was trying to get a clear understanding of this. He was the 'smart one' of the team, after all.]
...Are you alright in the head? Like your gears working right?
Sounds like this conversation isn't going as I hoped....
[As for Seldi, she forces herself to her feet and butts her head towards the camera, forcing Armstrong to move it backward so she doesn't break it.]
Raid On...the City....no, I don't want-!!
[Armstrong is again forced to step back as she suddenly roars, thrashing her head from side to side, as if in pain.]
Evil....Tusks! Raid On the City, Knock out Evil....!!
[Without warning, she speeds off towards the nearest tree, roughly slamming her head against it repeatedly.]
Seldi!
[Since she's completely ignoring him, Armstrong is forced to recall her back into her Pokeball, with an extremely worried look on his face.]
What...what was she saying? What happened?
A whole bunch of interesting stuff, I gotta say..
She was talking all weirdly and broken, like a broken record maybe.
She was repeating this mantra, "I have to destroy him. Raid on the city. Knock out Evil Tusks."
[Give him a moment to collect his thoughts.]
In between I heard, "For the glory of" then "I must win". It sounds like she's in some kind of spell if you ask me.
Anything happen that would've cause her to say that kind of stuff?
...but ends up looking completely lost.]
I simply have no idea - I've never heard any of those words before.
[Sighing, he turns his Mamoswine's Pokeball around in his hands.]
I think I may have to take her to see a Nurse Joy...she clearly has an issue that I'm unable to help with.
[Looking super down for a moment, Armstrong forces himself to brighten up.]
Ah, but I owe the pair of you many thanks for helping me! I'm sorry you had to see that.
There's some seriously wrong with your gal there so you'd better get it done fast. The sooner, the better.
[Solomon turned to his trainer.] I think we're all done here, trainer. I'm gonna go take 5.
[As the Solosis floated away, Mayu turned back to Armstrong. She was obviously frightened by what happened but she had to keep a straight face.]
I'm sorry if he was a bit rude to you sir, but I'm glad we were able to help you in some way.
[...in a...different way to his Mamoswine, anyway....]
Tell me, are all Psychic types capable of communicating like that?
[To be fair, Soloman was more loud and outgoing than Itsuki, not to mention more of a chatterbox.]
I'm not sure about my Ralts though. Maybe at a certain age?
